PIERCE- Wendell E. Pierce, D.D.S. 51, of 4811 San Jacinto, passed away Friday at his residence. Lifelong resident of Houston, Dr. Pierce was a member of the first Baptist Church of Houston. Holland Lodge No. 1 - Af & Am, Scottish Rite Bodies; Texas Dental Association; Houston Diving Club. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Eva L. Pierce, Mother, Mrs. Annette Pierce; aunts Mrs. Mignonne McMahon, Mrs. Nellie Mae Ware; cousin, Jim P. Norman, all of Houston; numerous other friends. Funeral Service 3:30pm Monday, Forest Park Lawndale Chapel with Rev. Clifford J. Smyly officiating. Interment Forest Park Lawdale Cemetery. Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave. Phone 928-5141.
