Dennis Ray Zimmerman `60 of San Antonio, originally of New Braunfels, died at his home September 7th, 2014 at the age of 76.  Survivors include Sally, his wife of 43 years, daughters D`Anne and Kori, step-son Todd, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 

Dennis was one of the nine boys from New Braunfels in September 1956 who came to Texas A&M and joined the Corps of Cadets to become men.  Dennis was in Squadron 20 his freshman
year studying Architecture.  He remained a true Aggie thru the years, never forgetting the foundation for life that was developed at A&M.
 

His career was in architecture, printing, copy products and retail fixtures.  He and Sally worked together developing these businesses.  Dennis enjoyed golfing in Landa Park, fishing at the coast which was a very serious profession to him, taking Rascal for walks,  cooking for any occasion, caring for his family and friends, staying in contact with high school friends in New Braunfels, and
entertaining his grandchildren.  He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
