Jerald D. "Jerry" Byrom'69, 66 of Houston [formerly of Camano Island, Wa. and Beaumont, Tx. died August 6, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a member of the Texas Aggie Band. He served three years in the U. S. Army at Fort Eustis, Va., Fort Rucker, Al., and Fort Hood, Tx. He was an engineer with Exxon-Mobile before working for various petroleum companies as a consulting mechanical engineer [ LNG Machinery Specialist ]. Survivors : his wife, Felicitas ; three sons ; two daughters ; three grandchildren ; and a brother , James E. Byrom'63.
