Daniel Jerry Boyer, 80, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Oconee Medical Center. He was preceded in death by son, Jerry Franklin Boyer. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Margarett Boyer, daughter Sandra and son-in-law Franz Michael Maier, special friends and coffee buddies of long standing. Arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Animal Rescue Fund, FoxNest Veterinary Hospital, 10445 Clemson Blvd., Seneca, SC 29678. The family is grateful for the sensitive care offered by the doctors, nurses and staff during Jerry’s final illness.
