August 13, 1934 – October 21, 2010
Dan E. Williams, 76, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Esperanza Senior Living in College
Station. Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at First Baptist Church of College Station. Interment will follow at College Station City Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born August 13, 1934 in Brazos County. He was a graduate of Sam Houston State and received his Master's Degree from Texas A&M. Mr. Williams coached football and was a teacher in many
districts throughout Texas including Bryan ISD and College Station ISD. Dan also was a salesman for Texas Refinery Corporation (TRC). He was a member of First Baptist Church of College Station.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Paula Williams Marshall and Larry; son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Kristin Williams; grandchildren, Lee and wife Linh, Wesley, and Meredithe Marshall, Trae (Dan E. III), Taylor and Tory Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mr. Williams' favorite charity, Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, Fund for Georgie's House, 2501 Texas Avenue South, Suite C105, College Station, Texas 77840, 979-764-6636.
