Current Students Only: A Ring Ticket allows you and your guests access to the Alumni Center on Aggie Ring Day at your scheduled time. You must show it to enter the building when your ticket group number is called. Former Students and guests do not need a Ring Ticket.

Professional photographers are on site at four locations. The Association of Former Students provides you a voucher for a free 5x7 print redeemable online.

Q: Do I need to get a Ring ticket?   Back to top

A: Yes. You must have a Ring ticket to pick up your Aggie Ring on Aggie Ring Day. Your Ring Ticket allows you and your guests access to enter the building during your allotted time slot.

A: Ring tickets will be available ONLINE at http://www.aggienetwork.com/Ring/RingDayTicket.aspx beginning at 7 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014. *Ring tickets will NOT be distributed at the Clayton W. Williams Jr. Alumni Center the morning of Aggie Ring Day. 

Q: How do I get my preferred ticket number?  Back to top
A: You can select your Aggie Ring pick-up time! We expect the early group ticket numbers to go fast, so plan to select your Ring Ticket early if you need to pick up your Aggie Ring by a specific time. Each group of tickets will have a limited quantity available. The earlier you log on, the better chance you will have of getting your preferred group number ticket. If all the tickets for your preferred group have been distributed, simply select another group number ticket. See the ticket/group # schedule.

A: You need an account on this website. If you don't have an account, you can register easily using your UIN.

Q: Do I need to print my Ring ticket?  Back to top
A: New!  You may print your Ring ticket or *show it on your smart phone or tablet.
*Please have it ready and enlarge your Group #/Ticket time on your device to make it easier for staff to read.

Q: Can I select my Ring ticket and print it at a later time?  Back to top
A: Yes. Once you select your Ring ticket, the information will be saved.  You can print your Ring ticket at a later time by going back to http://www.aggienetwork.com/Ring/RingDayTicket.aspx.

Q: What if I lose my Ring ticket?  Back to top
A: New!  You can reprint your ticket at any time by going to http://www.aggienetwork.com/Ring/RingDayTicket.aspx or *show it on your smart phone or tablet.
*Please have it ready and enlarge your Group #/Ticket time on your device to make it easier for staff to read.

Ring Questions

Q: Besides my Ring ticket, what else do I need to bring to pick up my Aggie Ring?  Back to top
A: You will need 2 of the following items to pick up your Aggie Ring: 
  • Ring receipt
  • Student ID card
  • Driver's license
Q: What if I lost my Ring receipt?  Back to top
A: You may pick up your Aggie Ring if you have both your driver’s license and student ID card.

Q: When does Ring Delivery begin?  Back to top
A: Ring Delivery kicks off with the firing of the Spirit of '02 cannon at noon.

Q: When will I get my Ring?  Back to top
A: The first Group # tickets will be called at 12:00 p.m. The following groups will be called *approximately every 15 minutes thereafter.
*In order for everyone to receive their Aggie Ring in a timely manner, please exit the Ring Area after you receive your Aggie Ring so that the next group of students may enter. See the ticket/group # schedule

Q: Where do I go to get my Ring?  Back to top
A: Aggie Ring Day is held at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Entrance into the building is located on the Haynes Ring Plaza side and is restricted until your Group Ticket # is called. You will need to wait outside until your time is called. 

Q: Where do I wait until my Group Ticket # is called?  Back to top
A: You will need to wait outside until your time is called. There will be a large tent with limited seating available outside. *Due to the large number of Aggies receiving their Rings, students and guests will NOT be allowed to enter the building until their Group Ticket # is called.

Q: Which line do I get in when my Group Ticket # is next?  Back to top
A: There will be two banners on the Haynes Ring Plaza. When your Group Ticket # is next, you and your guests will line up under the banner that has the first letter of your last name: Last Names A-R or S-Z. This line will lead you to your Ring Delivery Room inside the building.

Q: What if my Group #'s time has already passed?  Back to top
A: Please wait outside until the next time your group is called again when multiple groups are allowed in. Entry into the Ring Delivery Rooms will only be allowed if it is either your group’s approximated time slot, or when multiple groups are called in.  See schedule for clarification.

Q: What do I do once my Group # is called?  Back to top
A: Your Ring Ticket will be verified by staff so that you can enter the building. Please have your ticket ready to keep the lines moving. Inside the building, you will enter your Ring Delivery Room under the appropriate balloon arch based on the first letter of your last name.

Q: What do I do inside the Ring Delivery Room?  Back to top
A: Rings will be arranged by last names (ie: Smith - Sterling). Find the sign that will have your Aggie Ring at that station, get in line and have your ID's ready.

Q: Can someone else give my Aggie Ring to me?  Back to top
A: Yes. Please let the Ring Day volunteer at your station know that your guest would like to give your Aggie Ring to you.

Q: Where do I go after I get my Aggie Ring?  Back to top
A: Use the Exit in your Ring Delivery Room to receive your Aggie Ring Day sticker. Do not go back through the balloon arch entrance. Once outside, please visit one of the photo stations to have a professional picture taken of you with your new Aggie Ring!

Q: Can my family and friends come in with me when I pick up my Aggie Ring?  Back to top
A: Absolutely.

Q: Can I pick my Aggie Ring up early?  Back to top
A:
No. If you are unable to pick up your Ring during Ring Delivery, you can pick it up at the Aggie Ring Office during normal business hours any day thereafter.


Parking & Shuttle to Alumni Center

Q: Where can I park?  Back to top
A: We encourage you to park at the West Campus Garage (WCG), and take the free Aggie Ring Day Shuttle service. The Aggie Ring Day Shuttle will take you to and from the WCG and the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Rates for parking at the garages can be found by clicking here

Those with a valid parking permit may park at either their regular parking lot or in any Lot 100 space.

Q: Where can I park with a disabled parking placard or plate? Back to top
A: The Alumni Center has six disabled parking spaces in our circle drive along Houston Street. We are unable to reserve these spaces. If occupied, we recommend parking in the West Campus Garage (WCG) and take the ADA compliant Aggie Ring Day Shuttle to the Alumni Center or drop your guests off at the Alumni Center in the circle drive along Houston Street and wait under the large tent until your entire party arrives from parking their vehicle at one of the garages. 

Q: Where do I catch the Aggie Ring Shuttle? How often does it run? Back to top
A: The shuttle stops at the West Campus Garage (WCG) and along Throckmorton Street on the east side of the Alumni Center. Look for the signs. 

The shuttle will run non-stop between the West Campus Garage (WCG) and the Alumni Center from 11:00 a.m. - 6:45 p.m. Please allow at least 15-20 minutes (or longer depending on traffic) for the shuttle to arrive to your destination.


Picture Questions

Q: How will I get my one free photo?  Back to top
A: When your Ring Day photo is taken, you will receive a card with a web site and code which will direct you to your individual image. You will also receive a voucher code for a free print of ONE Aggie Ring Day photo which may be redeemed at our partner's web site. 

Q: Does the picture from the photographer cost anything?  Back to top
A:
No. You get one free professional photo. You may visit all four photo stations, and choose to order ONE favorite image as a gift from The Association of Former Students! Additional images will be available for purchase.

Q: Where will the picture stations be located? Back to top

Choose from one of the four picture stations below to take your free professional picture: 
* In case of inclement weather, picture stations will be canceled
  • 12 Ft. Haynes Ring Replica (located on the Spence Park side of the Alumni Center - 2 picture stations)
  • Spirit of '02 Canon (located on the Spence Park side of the Alumni Center)
  • Interlocking Ring Sculpture - Gift of the Class of '94 (located on the Houston St. side of the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center)

Q: When will I receive my free photo?  Back to top
A: You should receive your photo in approximately 4-6 weeks after your Aggie Ring Day image is redeemed online.

Q: What if I want additional copies of my picture?  Back to top
A: Additional images will be available for purchase on our partner's web site, which can found on the card you receive when you take your Ring Day photo.
 
Q: Can I take personal photos at the professional stations?  Back to top
A: No. In order for everyone to have time to take a professional photo, we ask that you do not take personal photos at the professional stations.

Q: Can I take pictures in the Ring Delivery Area?  Back to top
A: Yes, but please limit the number of pictures at this time. There are over 2,100 excited Aggies waiting their turn to pick up their Rings. In order for everyone to receive their Aggie Ring in a timely manner, it is best to take a few pictures and exit the delivery area. There are many fantastic photo opportunities around the building where you may take your time capturing this special occasion.

Guest Questions

Q: How many guests can I bring and do they need a ticket?  Back to top
A: There is no limit to how many guests you can bring and only you will need a ticket. You and your guests will NOT be permitted into the Alumni Center until your ticket group time is called. Be mindful of how weather conditions, walking distances and the crowds in and around the Alumni Center will affect your guests - particularly the elderly or infants. 

Q: Where are the restrooms located?  Back to top
A: Portable restrooms will be located outside. Look for the large trailer in the parking lot off George Bush Dr.

Q: What accommodations exist for guests with disabilities?  Back to top
A: The accommodations available for guests with disabilities are:

Disability Accessible Entrance
The disability entrance is off of Houston Street. You or your guests will NOT be permitted into the Alumni Center until your ticket group time is called. 

Disability Parking, Shuttle and Drop off
The Alumni Center has six disabled parking spaces in our circle drive along Houston Street. We are unable to reserve these spaces. Wheelchairs
We do not have wheelchairs available to rent. Please consider bringing one if your guest is unable to tolerate walking long distances or standing for long periods of time.

Restrooms
ADA portable restrooms are located in the Alumni Center parking lot off George Bush Dr. 

Q: Can we stay inside the Alumni Center after I receive my Aggie Ring?
A: No. Once you receive your Aggie Ring, you and your guests must exit the building so other Aggies can receive their Aggie Rings. You are not permitted to wait in the Alumni Center for another person's Ring delivery time.   



Weather Related Questions

Q: What if there is inclement weather? Back to top 
A: Ring Day will continue as planned on most rainy days, however expect some delay. In the event of severe weather, such as lightning, heavy rain, or high winds, the event may be postponed for the safety of our guests. We will reopen as soon as it is safe. Photo stations will close during inclement weather. 

Q: What advice do you have for hot weather?  Back to top
A: Dress for the weather in the event hot weather is forecast. It is very important to stay hydrated. There is water for sale at the concession stand located near the Haynes Ring Plaza. You may also get out of the heat by waiting under the large tent and cooling off at the misting station. 

Q: What advice do you have for rainy conditions?  Back to top
A: Dress for the weather in the event rain is in the forecast. It is recommended to bring an umbrella since entrance to the building is restricted to those who are receiving their Aggie Rings during their allotted time slot. The professional photo stations will close during the rain.
