Ticket Questions

Q: Do I need to get a Ring ticket?
A: Yes. You must have a Ring ticket to pick up your Aggie Ring on Ring Day.

Q: When and where do I get my Ring ticket?
A: Tickets will be distributed at the G. Rollie White ticket windows on April 4th between 7:15am – 6:45pm.

Q: Which line do I get in to get a ticket?
A: All 8 ticket windows will be open to distribute tickets between 7:15am - 9:45am. Each window has a limited number of tickets that have an approximate time in which you will be able to receive your Aggie Ring.
  • Only 2 ticket windows will be open from 9:45am - 6:45pm.
  • Each window will have a sign indicating the Group # tickets that are being distributed at that line along with the approximate delivery times.
  • Please choose a time that is best for you and your guests. Be aware that if you miss your time slot, you will have to wait until the top of the hour when the next grouping of tickets #'s are called. See schedule for clarification.

Q: How do I get my preferred ticket number?
A: Be in line early to get a ticket if you have a specific time you need to get your Aggie Ring. There are 12 groups of tickets and each has a limited quantity. The earlier you get in line, the better chance you have of getting your preferred Group # ticket. If all the tickets for your preferred group have been distributed, you will have to select another group # ticket.

Q: Besides my Ring ticket, what else do I need to bring to pick up my Aggie Ring?
A: You will need 2 of the following items to pick up your Aggie Ring:
  • Ring receipt
  • Student ID card
  • Driver's license

A: You may pick up your Aggie Ring if you have both your driver’s license and student ID card.

Q: When does Ring Delivery begin?
A: Ring Delivery begins with yell practice at the front entrance of G. Rollie White at 2:45 p.m. Ring distribution begins at 3pm.

Q: When will I get my Ring?
A: The first Group # tickets will be called at 3pm. The following groups will be called *approximately every 15 minutes thereafter. *In order for everyone to receive their Aggie Ring in a timely manner, please exit the Ring Room after you receive your Aggie Ring so that the next group of students may enter.

Q: Where should I go when my Group Ticket # is called?
A: Enter through the large, black curtain on center court of G. Rollie White Coliseum under 1 of the 2 balloon arches.

Q: What if my Group #'s time has already passed?
A: Please wait until the top of the hour when your group will be called once again. Entry into the Ring Delivery Room will only be allowed if it is either your group’s approximated time slot, or when your grouping is called at the top of the hour.

Q: Can I pick my Aggie Ring up early?
A: No. If you are unable to pick up your Ring during Ring Delivery, you can pick it up at our temporary location in The Grove during normal business hours any day thereafter.

Parking

Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking is available at the University Center Garage, West Campus Garage and Reed Arena Lot 100 with a valid parking permit. Rates for parking in the garages can be found by clicking on the links.

Q: How will I get my free photo?
A: It will be mailed to the address on the envelope you receive with your Aggie Ring.

A: No. You get one free professional photo.

A: No. In order for everyone to have time to take a professional photo, we ask that you do not take personal photos at the professional stations.

  • Benjamin Knox '90 prints of "The Historic Texas Aggie Ring" - $40.
  • Ring Day T-shirts - $10
  • Shivers Snocones - 1 FREE snocone to those receiving their Aggie Ring on April 4th & $1 snocones for all others.
