Roll Call Tribute

Jamie T. "Doc" Dawson '44, 86, of Longview (formerly of Crockett) died May 30, 2009. He moved to Longview in 1951 to join the Hill Animal Hospital. He established the Fredonia Animal Hospital. He retired from veterinary medicine in 1976. He lettered in basketball at Texas A&M from 1943 through 1946. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kathryn; a son; two daughters; and six grandchildren.
