The 2014 Distinguished Alumni Gala took place Friday night at the Brazos County Expo.
Twelve Aggies were honored as the 2014 recipients of the highest honor bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University, the Distinguished Alumnus Award:

- Maj. Gen. Thomas G. Darling '54, USAF (Ret) of College Station.
- Charlie W. Seely '55 of Fort Worth.
- Monroe H. Fuchs '56 of Cameron, Texas.
- Dr. Charles R. Wiseman '57 of San Antonio.
- William W. Hanna '58 of Wichita, Kansas.
- Dr. Sallie V. Sheppard '65 of Austin.
- Dr. Stephen A. Holditch '69 of Bryan.
- James A. Mayo '70 of Mathis, Texas.
- Clarence E. Sasser '73 of Rosharon, Texas.
