David Robertson
Robertson, David David Robertson, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday May 5, 2012. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. David was born in Abilene, TX March 29, 1930. A 1951 Graduate of Texas A&M University, he loved his Fightin' Texas Aggies. After serving his country in the United States Air Force, he joined 3M Company retiring as a Branch Manager after 35 years of service. David proudly served as President of the Van Zandt A&M Club and Class Agent for the class of '51. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Gloria B. Robertson, daughter Lynn R. McKendrick and husband Mike of Fort Worth, son Rick Robertson and wife Kim of Fairview, grandchildren, Matt and wife Courtney McKendrick of Dallas, Mark McKendrick of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph, Jeremy, Lindsey Robertson and Max Eldridge of Fairview. Celebration of Life - Tuesday May 8th at 10:00 a.m.at Restland Memorial Chapel. Visitation - Monday May 7th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Texas A&M Former Students Association.
