Former Students’ Donations Support A&M Rodeo Club

The Texas A&M Rodeo Club has been a student organization since 1949, allowing University students to participate as a team under the auspices of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
“We have been lucky enough to receive help from The Association over the past decade, helping to cushion
our travel expenses to the rodeos,” said long-time club advisor Dr. Al Wagner ’69. Students compete in standard rodeo events to earn individual points and also compete as a team for Texas A&M, Wagner
said.
This year, club members Lauren Cox ’11, Jodi Sharp ’12, Taylor Jacob ’13, McKenna Galbreath ’13, Jacobs Crawley ’11 and Shiloh Seale ’13 competed and fared well in the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo., thanks to the generous donors to The Association of Former Students’ Annual Fund.
