Roll Call Tribute

Joseph B. Collerain, Sr. '37, 91, of Caldwell (formerly of Galveston) died Jan. 21, 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve with the rank of colonel. He worked for Humble Oil & Refining Company and Exxon until he retired. He also owned Employee Relations Counselors of the Southwest, Inc. He funded a President's Endowed Scholarship at Texas A&M. Survivors include a son, Joseph B. Collerain, Jr. '70; three daughters, including Mary A. Alford '88; grandchildren, including D. Lee Alford '86, Joseph B. "Chip" Collerain III '93, Kimberly M. (Gilbert) Zais '96, and Brian C. Horak '01; and five great-grandchildren.
