E-News from The Association

Association Raises Record Annual Fund
The Association is proud to announce that we have achieved our best fundraising year in our 124-year history! Once the final numbers have been added, the 2002 annual fund will have surpassed the $6 million mark. 2002 proved to be a very challenging fundraising year for most charitable organizations, and 2003 presents us with even more challenges as we again strive to reach the $6.2 million mark. Through the combined efforts of our volunteers, we are confident in our ability to achieve this landmark goal! Thank you for all you have done for The Association and the Aggie Network in 2002 and for all you will help us achieve in 2003!

Aggie Nightlife: Texas Aggie Magazine to Feature YOUR Stories
When a bunch of Aggies get together, there is bound to be a good time, and lots of good bull. We will feature former students’ stories and pictures in a coming issue of the Texas Aggie magazine, and take Aggies of all ages on a trip down memory lane. So dig up those old pictures (we want the good ones!), and share your stories of a favorite Aggie Night spot and the memories you made there. Just reply to this message to submit stories and high resolution digital images, or send them by mail to Texas Aggie magazine, Attn: Night Life, 505 George Bush Drive, College Station, TX 77840.

Communications Survey Results Are In
The Association of Former Student conducted a Communications Survey during the fall of 2002. A total of 50,000 former students received the survey, and we’ve received approximately 5,500 responses. The staff here at The Association will spend time evaluating our projects and programs against the valuable information we have gathered.

We hope you will review this information, and if it generates questions, or certainly if it generates ideas, please give us a call. We welcome the opportunity to answer questions or to brainstorm ideas with you. Questions and comments about the survey may be directed to Amy Glass '92, Brand Manager for The Association.
