Ed Mosher started out in the shops and advanced to the position of vice chairman of the board and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Mosher Steel Company. He received his 1928 bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M where he was a member of the Ross Volunteers and the football team which won the Southwest Conference championship in 1927. He has served on the Executive Board of the Association of Former Students and was a charter member of the Century Club. Mosher is a member of Tau Beta Pi and on the board of trustees of the Texas A&M Research Foundation.

Haskell Motheral graduated from Texas A&M in 1952 with a Bachelors of Science degree in civil engineering. After serving two years as an officer in the United States Army, he joined a small private construction company in the Rio Grande Valley in 1954. There, he worked as the manager until he started his own companies in the mid 1960’s, Motheral Contractors, Inc. and Valley Caliche Products, Inc.
There has always been someone at A&M to help me when I needed them. We believe in this University and appreciate the caliber of the students we have met here in recent years. We know the quality of education available at this very special school and are pleased to be able to support it.

Gayle graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering in 1981 and continued his education by receiving his master’s in business administration at Southern Methodist University in 1992. Fran received her bachelor’s of science in Industrial Distribution in 1981 and continued her education in Physical Therapy. Gayle started his career working for Texas Oil & Gas as an Engineer and in 1995 worked for the Enron Corporation as a Vice President for 7 years. He then worked for Flabrock Engineering and Environmental as a Partner for 5 years and is currently working as the President of Texans Pipeline Company since 2007. Gayle and Frances feel that Texas A&M gave them the education which created the opportunity for their career paths and life with their family.

Muller received bachelor’s degrees in Economics and English in 1965 and later a master’s degree in Business Administration. While a student, he was elected Student Body President. He distinguished himself as executive assistant to the president of Pepsico, Inc, executive vice-president of the National Trailer Convoy, executive assistant to the chairman and president of Agrico Chemical Company, president of Devco Overseas Company, and general manager of The Kingston Company, Ltd. After a long career in executive positions, he became Senior Vice President of The Coastal Corp., where he managed multimillion dollar acquisitions and joint ventures.

George Nancarrow is an independent investor, serves on the boards of Dresser Industries and First Bank Las Colinas, and is the Director of the Dallas Petroleum Club. He retired as CEO and Chairman of the Board of DeGolyer and MacNaughton after a successful 36-year career with the company.
Corpus Christi, TX
Samuel L. Neal, Jr. ’59 is the chairman of the Corpus Christi Office of Hilb, Rogal & Hobbs Insurance. He retired as a colonel after more than 30 years in the Army and Army Reserve and served as mayor of Corpus Christi from 1997 to 2005. Neal received a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree from Texas A&I University, now Texas A&M-Kingsville. Neal was reappointed by Governor Rick Perry ’72 to the Texas Military Preparedness Commission through February 2011.
S. Loyd Neal III ’84 graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Neal is an attorney for Dunn, Arnold, Ellwood, and Neal Law Firm in Houston.
Ann Margaret (Neal) Eddy ’86 graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in educational curriculum and instruction.
Our family’s Endowed Diamond Century Club membership is dedicated to, and in honor of, my father, Samuel L. Neal, Jr. and our grandfather, Samuel L. Neal, Sr. Although the depression kept him from leaving the family farm to attend Texas A&M, our grandfather received his masters degree in sociology from Texas A&M in 1950, worked for the A&M Agricultural Extension Service for over 30 years and proudly wore his Aggie Ring everyday of his life. He was the first of three generations bearing his name to graduate from Texas A&M, and was so proud of his two grandchildren, who followed him to Texas A&M. He passed away in 1976. Texas A&M is a great part of our family, and keeping the “Aggie Spirit” alive for generations to come through his seven great-grandchildren is a part of our heritage.

William J. Neely ’52 graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering where he received an Opportunity Award Scholarship, the Engineering Faculty Senior Award and the Distinguished Military Graduate Award. Upon graduation, Bill joined Dow’s Texas Division where he held several leadership positions leading to vice president of The Dow Chemical Company and corporate director of Manufacturing and Engineering and was elected to Dow’s board of directors. Bill is a fellow for the Texas A&M Engineering Advisory Council and a former advisory council member for the chemical engineering department.

Bradford Neely ’94 is the Project Manager and Mill Supervisor for Hutchison Supply under Mike Hutchison ’68 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Development and is currently earning his Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) and Certified Door Consultant (CDC) certifications. Bradford volunteers his time as a member of the Comal County A&M Club and was a participant in the 2002 Muster Ceremony in New Braunfels.
I feel that being an Aggie has helped me in my career. Everywhere you turn, you run into other Aggies. It gives you an advantage that people from other schools don’t have. Aggies really stick together. I am inspired by my dad, L.C. “Chaz” Neely, Jr. ’62, to give back to A&M. He was the first in a growing family of Aggies to attend A&M. We are all grateful to have gone to A&M, so we want to contribute to A&M’s greatness for the future.

L.C. “Chaz” Neely, Jr., Class of 1962, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing from Texas A&M University. In 1979, Neely purchased San Antonio Steel Co and after many ups and downs, San Antonio Steel Co. today has retail sales in excess of $37 million with 35 employees. The Mays Business School honored him with the Outstanding Alumni Award in 2005 and he is an inaugural member of the “Aggie 100,” recognizing the 100 fastest growing Aggie-led businesses in the world.

Colonel Adrian B. “Bentley” Nettles earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Texas A&M University in 1985. He then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. Colonel Nettles serves as the General Counsel for the Joint Force Headquarters Texas Army National Guard. He is the principal legal advisor to the Texas Adjutant General; his staff; subordinate commanders; and federal and state directorates within the Adjutant Generals Department, including but not limited to operational, military justice, administrative, civil, fiscal, environmental and contract law. He is the principal legal advisor for intelligent oversight, policy and regulation interpretation and assists with legislative affairs. Colonel Nettles is also the Designated Agency Ethics Official for the Texas National Guard. Bentley and his wife, Tracy, believed it was important to give back to Texas A&M through an Endowed Century Club gift to ensure that A&M continues to influence students around the world. Bentley and Tracy reside in Wellborn, Texas with their two children—Peter and Henry.

John Newcomb served as Vice President of The Anden Group, a residential development construction company with divisions in Southern & Northern California, Chicago, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Florida, Arizona, London and Paris. He is on the President’s Council of the Building Industry Association.

Murray W. Newton ’75 is executive vice president of Koll Development Company, a national commercial real estate development company in Dallas, Texas. Murray graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor of science degree in Engineering Technology. Since graduation, he has held various construction and development management positions in the Dallas area. Murray has been Class Agent for the Class of 1975, since 1985. He has also served as administrator for the Class of 1975 Presidential Endowed Scholarship and the Class of 1975 Sul Ross Scholarship.
I believe the most significant impact from being an Aggie is that I made life-long friends at A&M, whose relationships I will always treasure. I recognize that Texas A&M is one of the most significant blocks in the foundation of who I am. As former students, I believe we are all duty-bound to give back to A&M so that our legacy is maintained and that the university will continue to grow in greatness. Making a commitment like this to Texas A&M was essential for something that I felt so strongly about.

Neither Ranzell nor Frances attended Texas A&M, but they represent the culture of hard working, dedicated Americans who molded the lives of Aggies and the traditions of Texas A&M. They became staunch Aggie fans when their son, Ranzell Nickelson II ’67, attended Texas A&M, and they were very proud of the school and its tremendous growth and accomplishments. Their children and grandchildren continue to carry the Aggie Spirit by honoring them.

Michael R. Niklasch ’84 graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. Upon graduation, he held various positions with numerous companies in Big Spring and throughout the United States. In 1992, Michael founded A&M Composites, L.P. He sold the company to Weatherford International in August 2005. Michael is an active member of the Howard County A&M Club, serving as past president.
The excellent education I received in the conservative environment of Aggieland helped to mold me into what I am today. The doors that my A&M degree opened were countless. It is important for me to give back to A&M because I would like A&M to continue its longstanding path of excellence in molding young men and women into educated and productive adults that society can, and is, proud of.

John Nobles was the owner of John Nobles Construction Company after serving as project manager for J.W. Bateson Co. in San Fransisco and district engineer for C.H. Leavell Co. He has served as President of the Southwestern Contractors Association, Director of the Sun Bowl Association, and received the El Paso People of Vision Award in 1979.
Hillsboro, TX
Kenneth “Kennie” Nowlin ’82 graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in agricultural economics. As a third generation Aggie, Nowlin was no stranger to the rich history and traditions of the university and he learned the meaning of the Aggie Spirit at a very young age.
From Texas A&M, he began a long standing career in the banking industry. Nowlin joined Citizens National Bank in 1989 and remained with the institution for almost three decades. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President/CLO and acts as a board member.
Nowlin and his wife, Jennifer, have continued their Aggie legacy in a multitude of ways. One of their children, Anne Elizabeth, better known as “Liza,” is a member of the Class of 2010. The couple are also highly involved in the Hill County A&M Club and are heritage members of the Texas A&M Legacy Society. In the spirit of wanting to help future students and continue their service to the Aggie family, Jennifer and Kennie elected to become members of the Endowed Century Club.

Rodger Nutt graduated from Texas A&M in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology. His Aggie connections opened up many opportunities and allowed him to foster a successful career in engineering.
He and his wife, Angelica, received many scholarships before attending their respective universities. This support was instrumental to the success that they both found and left a lasting impact on the couple. Additionally, they both now find themselves at companies that strive to support their local communities. The acts of generosity that they have both witnessed and been impacted by prompted the couple to provide the same opportunities for a new generation of students.

Erle A. Nye ’59 is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer for Texas Utilities Company (TXU Corp) in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, received a J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University in 1965, and a Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1996. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Regents for the Texas A&M University System as well as Chairman of the Electric Power Research Institute.
At A&M, I received a first-rate engineering education, but more significant was the concepts of service, commitment, duty, loyalty, and leadership that were ancillary to the experience. Texas A&M University has had a profoundly beneficial impact on my life. I owe the University a debt I can never repay. I have tried to be of assistance where I can. I understand the importance of The Association and I wanted to help.
