Ags in the Bryan-College Station area, we need at least 1,000 Aggies to fill the Haynes Ring Plaza around 12:45 p.m. Thursday for the launch of the SEC Network.
The official televised launch of the network to more than 92 million homes nationwide will happen Thursday evening, featuring video segments from all 14 schools, and we’ll film ours between 1 and 2 p.m. Please come to the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center
at 12:45 p.m., maroon out the plaza, and yell loud for the SEC Network cameras!
The yell leaders, Miss Reveille VIII and Bus 12 will be present. Aggie Athletics will have SEC Network/TAMU shirts to give out to fans for coming. The Association also will take a photo of the crowd that we will display larger-than-life-size on an interior
wall of the Memorial Student Center.
PARKING:
- Please carpool and use the paid parking at the University Center Garage.
- Parking at the Alumni Center is free, no permit required, but very limited.
- No parking will be available in Lot 48.
- Vehicles with a valid permit may park in Lot 40D.
For Aggies outside of the Brazos Valley, be sure to tune in to the SEC Network 5-8 p.m. Thursday to see the 14 schools featured as the network goes live. Its first college football game, Texas A&M at South Carolina, airs Aug. 28.
Are you signed up to receive the SEC Network? With DirecTV and Charter added last week, ESPN says the SEC Network should be available to 90 percent of U.S. cable homes; visit
