From Aggieland to Los Angeles, Aiden Ross ’28 earned his spot on season 28 of the singing reality competition The Voice. The College Station-native gave a stirring rendition of Adele’s Love In The Dark, which prompted a near-instant four-chair turn from coaches Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg, guaranteeing his spot on the show.
“It was a surreal experience,” Ross said. “Watching the chairs spin in person for the first time, having watched the show for years, was unbelievable. I forgot for a moment where I was!”
Ross chose Horan as his mentor and feels “blessed to be able to represent A&M and College Station on such a national scale,” he said. “I hope that I have and will continue to inspire fellow Aggies to pursue their dreams.”
