William F. "Ford" Dishman

September 27, 1982 - January 15, 2025

William Ford Dishman, 42, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on January 15, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. He was born September 27, 1982, to Bill and Lisa Dishman.

Ford was a lifelong resident of Beaumont and graduated from West Brook High School in 2001. He went on to study Environmental Science at Texas A&M University and furthered his educational path at Texas A&M Law School in Fort Worth. Upon graduation, he opened the Law Offices of Ford Dishman in Beaumont where he enjoyed practicing many facets of the law.

Ford was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. His legacy will forever be defined by his loyalty to family and friends, love of a good time, being a fighting Texas Aggie, and dedication to the law. Ford will be deeply missed and remembered always.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Lisa Dishman; sister and brother-in-law, Erin and Al Silva; niece, Stella Silva; nephews, Adam and Sam Silva; grandmother, Marcy Ford; aunts and uncles, Leslie Ford, Bryan and Cici Dishman, Blain and Jeannie Dishman, Kelly Dishman and Gunter Heydman, and Lee Ann and Tom Braley; along with so many well-loved cousins and friends near and far.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in Ford’s memory to CASA of Southeast Texas, 2449 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77702 or The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705 or www.humanesocietyofsoutheasttexas.org. CASA is the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children. They are a nonprofit service organization that trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children. Ford worked closely with this organization in an effort to lift children up to better their lives and futures. The Humane Society of Southeast Texas is also close to Ford’s heart. He rescued his two sidekicks, Whiskey and Charlie, whom he loved more than ever. He would be grateful for other animals to be loved as much as they were.

A gathering of Mr. Dishman’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Broussard’s.
