Robert Richard Springborn 

September 14, 1958 - September 16, 2024 

Robert Richard Springborn, 66, of Lincoln, California, passed away peacefully at home September 16, 2024.

Born on September 14, 1958, in Lakewood, Ohio, Robert graduated from the University of Miami with a triple major, as well as a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University. He went on to obtain his PhD from University of Michigan.

Robert had a special love for the Catholic Church, Jesus Christ, and Holy Mary. He participated in several church ministries and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Robert was an enthusiastic University of Michigan football fan and loved watching their games. He also loved traveling. Being an avid Disney lover, his travels included Disney World and Disneyland, which he loved deeply.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Springborn.

He is survived by two sisters, Christine Pych and Jennifer Bullard; his nieces, Sabrina, Jasmine, and Jessica; his nephew, John; his great nephews, Gabriel and Bjorn; his step great nephew Russell; and his step great niece Lyra.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will take place October 17th at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 280 Oak Tree Lane, Lincoln, California.
