Jeffrey Charles Fulbright 

November 1, 1956 - January 19, 2025 

Jeffrey Charles Fulbright, born November 1, 1956, passed away on January 19th, 2025 at the age of 68.

Jeff was a devoted father and a passionate outdoorsman. He spent his life pursuing the things that brought him joy and meaning, leaving his mark on everyone who knew him. Born in Andrews, Texas and raised in Marshall, Texas, Jeff grew up with a deep love for nature, which shaped his lifelong passion for fishing and hunting.

He shared this passion with his two beloved sons, Jacob and Pierce, who were his pride and joy. Whether it was teaching them how to bait a hook, track game, or appreciate the quiet beauty of a morning in the woods, Jeff cherished every moment spent with them. His wisdom, humor, and adventurous spirit created countless memories that his sons will carry with them forever.

Jeff was known for his infectious laugh and kind heart. He approached life with grit, often finding solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. Friends and family remember him as someone who had a zest for travel and adventure.

Jeff is survived by wife Dana Fulbright, son Jacob Lee Fulbright and wife Emily, son Jeffrey Pierce Fulbright and wife Lindsey, brother James Samuel Fulbright and sister Cynthia Lee Fulbright, grandson Charles Allen Fulbright and granddaughters Claire Elizabeth Fulbright and Leighton Grace Fulbright, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Christy Fulbright and his parents, James (Jim) Fulbright and Charlene Goodall Fulbright, and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goodall and Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Fulbright.

Jeff’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service on Thursday. January 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Cypress Valley Bible Church.

Though he will be deeply missed and forever remembered, his family knows that he rests in the embrace of our Lord and Savior in Heaven.
