Eva Charlene Mayberry 

November 29, 1935 - November 10, 2024 

Eva Charlene Mayberry was born on November 29, 1935, in Big Spring, Texas and passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 88. She was an academic who held various degrees from Trinity University to Texas A&M University her Doctorate's in Education. She had an extensive career as a teacher and her primary practice was English. She loved her Family, Animals, Yellow Roses, Arts, and Crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lucy May (Younger) Boyd, Her Husband, MSGT Charlie Ray Mayberry USAF Retired; son in law, Stewart Lee Hickman, Grandson, Stewart Lee Hickman Jr, and Sister Frankie Geneva Boyd.

She is survived by her daughters, Eva La Rue Hickman, Renee Carla Mayberry-Olivarez, and husband Robert; grandchildren, Carlie Andrew Hickman and his wife Monique Sanchez-Hickman, Crystina Hickman (Widow of Stewart Hickman Jr), Zander Allen Olivarez, Zoi, Alise Olivarez and Bianca Husley and Husband John Husley, and Great Grandchildren, Corina and Briella.

She is also survived by her former student Stephen Guinn who she referred to as her son over the years, He made her smile and aided with her care.
