Stacy David Doss 

September 23, 1967 - October 19, 2023

A memorial service for Stacy David Doss, 56, of Cedar Park, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

Stacy was born on September 23, 1967, in Marshall, Texas to Jerry David Doss and Marittia Dianne Carey Doss. He passed away on October 19, 2023, at Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas after surgery for a sudden illness.

He lived in Cedar Park, Texas where he had resided for several years. He graduated Marshall High School in 1986 and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He later graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1998, which was one of his proudest moments. He was a computer programmer and had been employed by several high-tech companies including AMD, Qualcomm and most recently Intel.

After his daughter’s death in 2011, he organized a drive to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to help children in need.

He enjoyed collecting different hot sauces, loved the great state of Texas, the Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Rangers. He often visited with special friends at a local Pub and was well known for his love of eating anything “hot.” One of his favorite sayings was “Tabasco is good on everything except ice cream.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry David Doss; daughter, Guinevere Eileen Doss and grandparents, Wesley and Dora Carey and R.D. and Marjorie Doss.

He is survived by his mother, Dianne Doss of Marshall; sister, Kimberly Hoover and husband, Terry; nephews, Daniel, Benjamin and Matthew Hoover and niece, Grace Hoover all of Copper Canyon, Texas along with 2 aunts, and uncle and numerous cousins and other family and friends.
