October 19, 1920 - September 2, 2023
Chris C. Edwards passed away September 2, 2023 in Bryan, Texas.
Chris looked forward to Saturday morning domino games with his buddies in Waco, where he lived a majority of his life. He was a member of the arts and gave generously to the art community and to his family.
One of his proudest accomplishments was the bridges he assisted building in Persia. But his biggest project was the bridge across the Sabine between Texas and Louisiana which is now where I-10 runs.
Chris “Unk” Edwards lived a long fulfilled life, was a WWII veteran, and was a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ‘43.
