His funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24th, 2pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, TX and on Wednesday, October 25th, 2pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, TX with graveside directly following in Bellwood Cemetery.

Buck was born on March 9, 1938, in New Orleans, LA to Millicent Massarini Prewitt and William Ansel “W.A.” Prewitt, Jr.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 1960 and was a four-year Aggie Letterman (1956-1960) in golf. Buck was a well-respected business owner and advocate for civic service as he supported and served in numerous roles to better his community and state.
