Casey Pickard, born on October 10, 1982, went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023. His departure at the age of 40 has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Casey's journey began in San Augustine, TX, where he was born and raised. After graduating high school, he attended Texas A&M University, where he not only pursued his education but also found his soulmate, Melissa. Their enduring love story culminated in a blessed marriage that was a source of happiness and joy to all who witnessed it. Following graduation, Casey dedicated 18 years of diligent service to TechnipFMC, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment and skill.
A man of deep convictions, Casey's faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of his existence. He shared his spiritual devotion with a steadfast zeal that continued even in the face of adversity. Casey's life was a testament to the power of faith, as he boldly and compassionately spread his beliefs to all those around him.
Embracing the beauty of the outdoors, Casey found solace in nature, particularly during cherished fishing expeditions with their three beloved sons: Ethan, Samuel, and Judah. His role as a father was defined by love, guidance, and countless memories woven into the fabric of their lives.
Casey is survived by his loving wife, Melissa, who walked beside him through every triumph and challenge. His memory lives on through the lives of his cherished sons, Ethan, Samuel, and Judah, who pridefully carry forward his legacy. He is also survived by his parents, Tommy and Colleen Pickard, who nurtured him into the man he became. Casey's extended family includes his brother and sister-in-law, Caleb and Randi, and their children, Caden, Dani, and Bowen; his sister and brother-in-law, Collette and Tracy, and their children, Peyton, Noah, and Piper; his brother, Calan, and his sister-in-law, Jennifer, and their children, Kai and River; as well as his brother-in-law, Jason.
As we celebrate Casey's life, we remember his dedication to family, faith, and the values that guided him. His commitment to God and his loved ones was constant and unbending, serving as a beacon of hope for those fortunate enough to cross his path. Casey's legacy will forever inspire us to live with the same passion for life, family, and faith that he exemplified.
Casey's soul is now at peace in the embrace of His Savior, and we take comfort in the hope of resurrection. We will see Casey again one day, healed and whole, but until then, may his memory remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
