David Allen Neumann
August 20, 1937 - August 23, 2023
David Allen Neumann, age 86, of Conroe, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on August 23, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1937 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Edwin Walter Neumann Sr. and Annie Mary Dyda Neumann.
After graduating Texas A&M University, David joined the Army National Guard where he served 6 years. He was an avid golfer, sang in the Conroe Chorale, and was very active in his church as well as many other organizations. Along with his wife, they raised 4 children, Karen, Lisa, Troy, and Shelly.
David is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Carolyn Kirkland, and his brother, Edwin Walter Neumann, Jr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Juanita; his children: Karen Neumann Dunnigan and her husband Joe, Lisa Neumann Minnick and her husband Ken, Troy Neumann and his wife Wendy, and Shelly Neumann Bohde and her husband Mark; grandchildren: Tricia Bohde Acree and her husband Matthew, Drew Neumann, Ella Bohde Weenig and her husband Marcus, Megan Dunnigan Proudfoot and her husband Ryan, Katelyn Neumann Chasse and her husband Tyler, Dylan Minnick, Brooke Dunnigan McAtee and her husband Connor, Carlton Bohde and his wife Jayde, Mackenzie Minnick, Madison Neumann, and Emily Bohde Astarita and her husband Anthony; great grandchildren: Annie Bohde, Micah Bohde, Hayden McAtee, Enoch Bohde, Adelyn Proudfoot, and Carson McAtee; as well as many loving cousins, wonderful nieces and nephews, other family members, and countless friends.
David will be forever loved and deeply missed by all his family and friends...until we meet again!
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023 at McNutt Funeral Home located at 1703 Porter Rd in Conroe, Texas with Pastor Matt Hannel officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday September 8, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to American Cancer Society or to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church (CLC), Conroe, Texas.
