William Leroy Campbell 
July 27, 1934 - June 4, 2023 

William "Leroy" Campbell, long-time Fort Worth resident, departed this life on June 4, 2023.

Leroy was preceded in death by his his wife, Merrill Jean Campbell, daughter, Nita Michelle Frio and son, William "Roy" Campbell.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Phelps, son-in-law Don Phelps, granddaughters, Laura Wilson, Leah Kipley, Lindsay Phelps, and Leslie Adame, eight great-grandchildren and his former spouse, Judy Campbell.

Leroy moved his family to Fort Worth from College Station, TX in 1960 where he lived and raised his family in the Wedgewood area. Leroy was a Korean War Army Veteran, Texas A&M graduate, a long-time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a financial planner/insurance agent, serving the community.

Internment and remembrance service was at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
