Craig Alan Jacobsen 

June 11, 1949 - June 7, 2023 

Craig Alan Jacobsen passed away on June 7, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1949 in Rockford, Illinois to Ingvar and Harriet Jacobsen.

As a child of a military family, he lived on several military bases in the US, Germany, and Spain. Throughout his military career and life, he visited all 7 continents. He was a retired Captain of the US Navy, including an active duty assignment in the Antarctic followed by years of service in the US Navy Reserve primarily in anti-submarine warfare and drug interdiction. His career included forensics and chemical health and safety with various government agencies.

Craig loved his family, fishing, Star Trek, John Wayne, history, and anything related to the Texas A&M Aggies (Gig 'em!).

Craig was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue and children, David and Kyle Marie, and his sister, Margaret Jacobsen.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Messiah Lutheran Church (3701 FL-390, Panama City) on Thursday, June 15 at 2:00 pm.
