Shirley enjoyed being outdoors doing things, such as gardening, building campfires, crafts, painting deer stands, having picnics, fishing, and clearing trails. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and loved cooking grand meals with her whole family together. Helping others was a quality trait of Shirley's and she loved her church family. Having her husband, Mike by her side made Shirley's life all the more enjoyable. Whether they were working together or fussing at each other, they made a terrific team. Being "Memaw" was Shirley's greatest accomplishment and love.
