James "Jamie" Willam Peet
July 17, 1962 - June 22, 2022

Jamie Peet passed away peacefully on June 22 at 59 years old. He was born in Houston on July 17, 1962 to Matina Pappas Peet and William George Peet.

He attended St. Anne's Catholic School, St. Thomas High School and Texas A&M University where he graduated with a BBA in Accounting. He practiced accounting for many years with various companies including Continental Airlines, the IRS, Cappelen & Associates, Triarch Industries, Nordstrom, and Major League Baseball. He was also an ambassador for IAH and Hobby airports volunteering as a Greek translator. He loved baseball, the Astros and collecting baseball memorabilia. He had a kind and loving spirit.

Jamie is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his first cousins, Bess Stamos, Dena Hademenos, Marlyne Sukhtian, George Peet, Gigi Katsenes, Eleni Fuller and Maria Bassa.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 2, at 10 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral with a Makaria to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jamie's memory may be made to the Annunciation Orthodox School, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral or to the charity of your choice.
