Steven Kennon Davis
August 4, 1960 - September 28, 2021

Steven Kennon Davis, age 61, passed into glory on September 28, 2021, after enduring a courageous battle with cancer.

Steven was born August 4, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas to Martha and Herbert Davis, and the brother of Lisa Ann, Karen, and Julie.

He attended Churchill High School and Texas A&M University, where he was drafted as a left handed pitcher by the Toronto Blue Jays. His baseball career included playing for the Cleveland Indians, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Detroit Tigers.

After retiring from baseball, Steven worked for thirty years for Steve Hawkins Custom Homes, where he enjoyed his co-workers and customers immensely.

Steven’s passion for playing and coaching baseball, was only surpassed by his love for his LORD, Jesus Christ and for his family. Steven is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Pam, and their three children, Alese, Rhett, and Rhys, who were the apple of his eye. Steven leaves behind a large extended family and friends, in whom he was greatly loved and will be sorely missed. Steven was preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha and Herbert Davis, and his mother-in-law, Ann Hawkins.

Steven will be remembered for his gregarious story-telling and his generous nature.
