At least 26 Texas Aggies will compete for more than a dozen different nations in the Tokyo Olympics, including both current and former students. The opening ceremony is July 23; schedules are here.
Scroll down to see Aggie Olympians of whom we have been notified as well as the 25 on Texas A&M Athletics’ list of Tokyo Olympic competitors who were or are part of A&M Athletics teams as students. If you know of more Aggies taking part, let us know at AggieNetwork@AggieNetwork.com.
Among former students, swimmer Alia Atkinson ’10 is taking part in her fifth Olympics and Khris Middleton ’13 is a pro basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks.
In addition, Alex Dawson ’06 will serve as the U.S. swim team manager; he competed for A&M as a student and is A&M’s current director of swimming and diving operations.
