Alvin David Golman
July 26, 1932 - October 25, 2020
Alvin David Golman passed away on October 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Anna (Krause)Golman and Abe J. Golman; his brothers: George Golman and Donald Golman, all of Dallas.
A native Dallasite, born July 26, 1932, he attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1953, where he served as president of the Hiller Foundation his senior year. He relished those years and friends all his life.
He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1953 to 1955 attaining the rank of First Lieutenant.
He worked in the food supply industry his entire career; joining the Golman Baking Company in 1956, and entering the food brokerage business in 1970. He garnered many honorary awards for excellence while representing some of the best-known brands and companies
in the country.
He is survived by the love of his life, Marilyn (Coleman) Golman; his daughter, Abby, and son Brad; and granddaughter Tracy.
