Glenn Jackson Langford, 86, passed away on June 17, 2020 in League City, Texas. He was born on October 24, 1933 in Hillsboro, Texas to Grace Pulliam and Fred J. Langford. Glenn is survived by: his wife of 61 years, Carlene Baker Langford; daughter, Leslie Langford Culp and husband, Richard B. Culp; son Gregory Judd Langford and wife Amy Lively Langford, grandchildren, Caitlin Langford Culp, Noelle Baker Culp, Rachel Bradford Culp, Barrett Baker Langford, and Bryan Philip Langford; and numerous family members and friends.
When his nation called he answered by joining the Air Force as a Fighter Pilot and flew the F102. He earned a B.S. in Business from Texas A&M University in College Station and Glenn worked as a Comptroller, CPA, and Realtor for Wolf Brand Chili, Hable Construction Co., Jetco Chemicals, Procter and Gamble and Langford and Associates, Realtors. He had a passion for all things family, friends, church and Texas A&M and loved to water and snow ski, boat, play racquetball and handball, play with his grandkids, travel and serve various service organizations and clubs like Jaycees, Optimist, Lion’s, Rotary Club and the YMCA. On Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Crowder Funeral Home – Webster a Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
