Young Announces Race Task Force, Monument Review Committee

On June 17, Texas A&M President Michael K. Young announced A&M would create a task force on race relations at the university and a committee to review historical representations including statues, buildings and monuments. Read the statement at tx.ag/June17Note.
The announcement came two days after he announced 10 actions the university would take to address challenges the campus has experienced with regard to racism: tx.ag/June15Note.
