2020 Aggie Greek Award Recipients Announced

The Aggie Greek Awards highlight the accomplishments of the Texas A&M University fraternity and sorority community by awarding individuals, volunteers, alumni and organizations for exemplifying the university’s core values.

Due to university directives in response to COVID-19, the eighth annual Aggie Greek Awards Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, March 19, was canceled. Together, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life, the Greek Former Student Network and The Association of Former Students want to celebrate and recognize this year’s award recipients.

The 2020 award recipients are:

  • Excellence Awards: Delta Delta Delta
  • Integrity Award: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
  • Leadership Award: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
  • Loyalty Award: Delta Gamma
  • Respect Award: Delta Zeta
  • Selfless Service Award: Kappa Kappa Gamma
  • Outstanding Community Relations Award: Pi Beta Phi
  • Chapters of the Year: CPC - Kappa Delta, IFC - Pi Kappa Alpha, MGC - Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Inc., NPHC - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
  • Rising Star Awards: CPC - Virginia Krog ’21,  IFC - Josh Feldman ’22, MGC - Rebbekah Perez ’21, NPHC - Garrett Montague ’21.
  • Aggie Greek Unsung Hero: Dr. Chanda Elbert
  • Advisors of the Year: Fraternity - Col. Mark Johnson ’78, Sorority - Liesl Wesson ’92
  • Fraternity Man of the Year: Mikey Jaillet ’20
  • Sorority Woman of the Year: Briana Fabela ’20
  • President's Award for Outstanding Greek Ambassador: Zachary Mendoza ’22

The Greek Former Student Network is a Constituent Network of The Association that aims to connect Greek former students, stimulate interest in and loyalty to Texas A&M, and provide inter-generational programs that further the educational and charitable interests of the Greek letter organizations, Texas A&M and The Association.
