The Deloitte A&M Club received its charter Nov. 16 during a reception with the Leadership Council, the highest governing body of The Association of Former Students.
The Deloitte Club is the second chartered corporate Texas A&M Club. The ExxonMobil A&M Club was chartered in April.
Corporate Clubs operate and receive Association support like any of the hundreds of geographically based Clubs chartered with The Association: organizing tailgates, volunteer events and an annual Muster.
Deloitte was represented at the charter presentation by Sterling Knapp ’14, the first president of the Deloitte A&M Club; Robert Penshorn ’89, a Club executive committee member; and Hayley McQuaid ’15, director of campus relationships.
Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services globally and employs about 700 former students of Texas A&M. Deloitte provides 1-to-1 matching of employees' gifts of up to $25,000 to Texas A&M University, including gits through The Association, significantly increasing the impact of each former student’s gift. Thanks to our donors, The Association of Former Students is able to provide support for A&M Clubs. Make a gift today.
