The Brazos County A&M Club will hold its annual Aggie Muster on Sunday, April 21, 2019, in the Bethancourt Ballroom of the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University.

The Texas A&M student-run campus Muster will be held on Monday, April 22, since April 21, 2019, is also Easter Sunday. According to BCAMC President Earl Wurzbach ’79, after numerous discussions with board members, officers and other Brazos County A&M Club members, the decision was made to hold the Brazos County Muster on the traditional date of April 21.

“We of course understand the university’s decision to move the campus Muster to Monday to allow students and the 50th anniversary class to enjoy Easter at home, but the overwhelming sentiment among our members was to hold our Muster on April 21,” he said.

The Texas Aggie Muster tradition spans more than a century and will be observed in more
than 300 locations around the world. The evening includes a catered dinner, speaker, cash bars and the Muster Roll Call.  All former students, their families, and friends of Texas A&M University are invited to attend.

The 2018 Brazos County Muster was once again a sold-out event with more than 800 local Aggies in attendance including guest speaker Vic Schaefer ’84.

The 2019 Muster speaker will be Dr. Ben Welch, Director of Halliburton Programs and Clinical Professor for the Department of Management in Mays Business School.

More details on the 2019 Brazos County Muster will be released at a future date.
