On Thursday, Dec. 6, at 4:15 p.m., the Navy will perform a special 21-plane “missing man” flyover above the site for the interment services. KBTX reported that this will be the Navy’s largest ever flyover and will be made up of F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets.

The U.S. Naval Institute reported that the lead aircraft “has been painted to list ‘President George H.W. Bush, 41’ where the pilot’s name would typically go and ‘Barbara, First Lady’ where the naval flight officer’s name might go.”
