Kevin passed away on September 9th at 9:03 PM at an apartment in South Austin.
Kevin was born in Spring, Texas on March 13, 1989 to Jim and Janet Hartzog. He graduated from Klein High School in 2007. He attended Blinn Junior College in College Station and then Texas A&M. Kevin had a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR! He liked making little subtle jokes. He was extremely intelligent, athletic and Tech savvy. He had an uncanny ability to solve problems. Some of his best days were spent playing sports, working out, spending time with family and his beloved dog, Taaka. Kevin was always there when anyone needed him, and he would be in the car driving before the phone hung up. Kevin was taken too soon from this Earth and will be dearly missed. God bless you son.
Kevin was preceded in death by his Grandparents, James Hartzog and Joy Hartzog Hughes, Cliff Hughes, Woodrow (Woody) Cook and Elmo Bagby. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jim and Janet Hartzog, sisters, Candace Pulliam and husband Larry of Port Neches, Texas, Jaime Durrett and husband Quenton of Huffman, Texas, Heather Hartzog of Hutto, Texas, grandmother, Vida Mae Bagby nieces, Brennah Hairston, Alexis Durrett and Kynslee Bovino, nephew Jett Durrett, and aunts, uncle and many cousins.
Visitation will be held at Beck Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2018 and the Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to:
