Jack Berry
September 28, 1935 – July 12, 2018

Jack Berry, 82, of Stephenville, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, in Stephenville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 15th at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes and Weldon Branham officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Jack was born on September 28, 1935 in Granbury to the late A. L. and Hixie Gray Berry. He married Alicia Poston on September 7, 1957 in Stephenville. Jack received his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University, and for over 30 years operated Poston Feed Mill in Stephenville. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, ECLA and Whataburger Coffee Club. Jack served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He was a farmer and rancher, and he and Alicia has spent the past 60 years here in Stephenville. He loved to farm and ranch, spend time with his grandchildren, tend to cattle, and loved his dogs.

Jack is survived by his wife; Alicia; daughter, Becky and husband Richard Wall of Stephenville; sons, Jeff Berry of Stephenville and Robert and wife Angela Berry of Lufkin; grandchildren R. J. Wall, Kristen and husband Danny Sellers, Kayla Berry, Chelsea and husband Benny Regenold, Sarah and husband Matthew Henderson, and Jacob Berry; great grandchild, Kingsley Berry; brothers, Bill and wife Judy Berry, Jim and wife Martha Berry; sisters, Jane Johnson, Dorothy and husband Bill Lewis, and Renee and husband Lynn Dudensing; sister-in-love, Rosalie Berry; and brother-in-love Lynn Nix; and several nieces and nephews

Besides his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by brothers, Bob Berry, Harold Wayne Berry and his wife Merlene Berry and; and sister, Joyce Berry Nix.

The Berry family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the charity of their choice.
