Century Club Impact Moment - Colonel Campbell's Final Flight

Scot Walker '90 November 13, 2017 9:18 AM updated: November 13, 2017 10:55 AM

The Association of Former Students is excited to be a part of the Game Day experience in Kyle Field through the Century Club Impact Moment, featured at halftime of every home game.

At the New Mexico game Veterans Day, Nov. 11, we featured "Colonel Campbell’s Final Flight."

William E. Campbell ’52 was shot down during the Vietnam War. Missing for more than 48 years, Colonel Campbell was finally laid to rest by his family this past May at Arlington National Cemetery, and The Association of Former Students was honored to document the colonel's journey home in the short film "Colonel Campbell’s Final Flight."

To watch the entire film, visit tx.ag/ColonelCampbell.

The Association of Former Students works continuously to promote the university and the Aggie Spirit, to support our revered traditions, to strengthen the bonds of the Aggie Network and to support the student body. Our work is only possible because of the generous support of tens of thousands of individual donors.

To learn more about becoming a donor to The Association and and how you can help us pass back the experiences that make Texas A&M unique by paying it forward to future generations, please visit AggieNetwork.com/giving/.
