Photos of active-duty Aggies in military sought for Kyle Field display

Texas A&M Athletics is taking submissions of photos or very short videos of active-duty Aggie military for consideration for use on the big screen at Kyle Field as part of Military Appreciation Day activities during the Nov. 11 football game against New Mexico.

Please submit photos and videos by 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, to be considered.

Texas A&M Athletics will review these submissions and select some to be shown on 12th Man TV at Kyle Field during Military Appreciation Day recognition at the New Mexico game on Nov. 11. By submitting your photo or video, you grant permission for Texas A&M Athletics to use it.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING PHOTOS:
Photos may be emailed to AggieNetwork@AggieNetwork.com. Photos submitted via social media won't be considered; you must email. Any file type is acceptable, but low-resolution photos are less likely to be used.
Do not use filters from Snapchat, Instagram, etc., and do not superimpose any text or images on the photos. Include the name and Class year of the pictured Aggie(s) in the body of the email, along with the location of the photo (when permissible).

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING VIDEOS:
Videos should be in the form of a very short "shout out" from active-duty Aggie military personnel, such as:
• "Shout out to Kyle Field from Joe Aggie, Class of 2009, serving at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan!"
Or
• "Gig 'em, Aggies, from the Classes of 2011 and 2013 aboard the amphibious landing ship USS Oak Hill!"
Videos of 25MB or less may be emailed to AggieNetwork@AggieNetwork.com. For videos larger than 25MB, email us a link to the file in a public Dropbox or use another file-sharing service where we may download the video. Videos submitted via social media won't be considered; you must email.

There is no guarantee that any submitted photo or video will be used. The Association of Former Students is helping Texas A&M Athletics collect photos and videos, but we have no role in deciding which photos and videos will be used.
