Scot Walker '90 October 9, 2017 9:09 AM updated: October 16, 2017 9:39 AM

The fightin’ Texas Aggies, the Aggie yell leaders and The Association of Former Students are all headed east to BTHO Florida.

There are events with local A&M Clubs on the way there, on the way back and during the festivities, as part of the Coast to Coast A&M Clubs tour. Read on for how to get to these events, or to watch the game with fellow Aggies!

For every out-of-town Aggie football game, the The Association of Former Students and local A&M Clubs partner to arrange and host away-game Midnight Yell Practices and All-Aggie Tailgates.

Aggie HQ

On Friday, Oct. 13, we're taking over V Pizza & SideCar! Located at 115 SE First St., V Pizza is opening its private banquet room as well as the entire restaurant for Aggies, offering numerous food and drink specials starting at 7:30 p.m. and hosting from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. an Aggie Pre-Game Party. For details and the other two Aggie HQ venues nearby, visit tx.ag/awaygames.

Midnight Yell Practice

Midnight Yell will be Friday night at Bo Diddley Plaza with the North Central Florida A&M Club. If you can't join us, catch the live stream at facebook.com/AggieNetwork (and remember that midnight in Gainesville is 11 p.m. in Texas)

All-Aggie Tailgate

On Saturday, the free All-Aggie Tailgate will be 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET at Hume Field, 2129 Museum Road in Gainesville, with the North Central Florida A&M Club and Aggieland Outfitters. We'll have free food and drinks thanks to sponsors, plus beer and swag from Aggieland Outfitters! Look for The Association's Gig 'Em Rig and the Aggieland Outfitters RV.

During the early part of this week's All-Aggie Tailgate, officials from Texas A&M's Office of Admissions will be on hand, so if you know students who are prospective future Aggies, bring them by and they can ask questions!

From Pasadena to Gainesville, across the U.S.!

Association staffers always visit as many Clubs as we can in person each year, and this fall, the A&M football schedule is really helping us out with that goal. We'll be logging 18,347 miles and meeting the Aggies of 50 A&M Clubs on the Coast to Coast tour, spanning from California to Florida. To follow along as the maroon pickup and the Gig ‘Em Rig cross the country, visit tx.ag/ClubsCoasttoCoast.

On our way to Florida, we'll be stopping for events in Lake Charles, La.: Beaumont; Fort Rucker and Mobile, Ala.; and Fort Walton Beach, Fla. To RSVP for any event, start at tx.ag/ClubsCoasttoCoast and click the link for the specific event).

The Coast to Coast tour has recently visited the El Paso, Tucson, Phoenix, Sierra Nevada, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Central California A&M Clubs. See photos and updates from those visits at tx.ag/CoasttoCoastPosts.

TV game-watch parties

The game is on ESPN2, with kickoff at 6 p.m. CST.

Want to watch the game with other Aggies? There are several watch parties already on our tracker -- find one, or post your own public tailgate or watch party at AggieNetwork.com/gameday/watchparties/
