Aggies across the American West: Coast to Coast tour, part 1!

Susan "Sue" Owen '94 October 4, 2017 3:45 PM updated: October 4, 2017 7:01 PM

On the first half of the 2017 A&M Clubs Tour: Coast to Coast, Association staff met with Aggies across the American West.

Take a look as we catch a wagon ride in Wyoming, watch an Aggie flyover in California, and visit Ags in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado, too:

Every year, Association of Former Students staff visit as many of our 250 A&M Clubs as they can on their way to set up Midnight Yell and a free tailgate at every away game.

The location and details for Midnight Yell Practice and the All-Aggie Tailgate in Florida are already posted at AggieNetwork.com/awaygames. The Association partners with local Clubs, the Fightin' Texas Aggie yell leaders and Aggieland Outfitters to host these events.

And since we bring the equipment for those events wherever Aggie football plays, that means that this fall, yep, we're driving a barbecue trailer across the continental U.S.

Next up: Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Arkansas and Tennessee!

See all the upcoming stops at tx.ag/CoasttoCoastStops - you can RSVP to the Facebook events and invite friends.

The events are gatherings such as happy hours, casual lunches, game-watch parties – and any event your Club might already be having that we can drop in on!

If you’re on the route, and your email and physical address are up to date at AggieNetwork.com/profile, then you’ve gotten or will soon get an email invitation.

The purpose is not only to touch base with and meet Aggies across the country, but also to help spread the word about just how many A&M Clubs there are and the amazing variety of programs they offer.

Read about some we've already visited this fall:

Hundreds of former students just like you volunteer thousands of hours making these Club events great, raising money to send local students to Texas A&M and keeping the Aggie Spirit burning bright worldwide.

And 93% of Aggies live in the geographic range of an A&M Club! Find yours at AggieNetwork.com/Clubs.
