If you haven't experienced Midnight Yell Practice at an away game, come on out!

This fall for the first time in a decade, the Texas Aggies will play football in California and Florida -- the two states tied for most A&M Clubs outside Texas (eight apiece).

The Association is taking the chance to visit every Club in both of those states as part of its Coast to Coast tour!

And just as it does every year, The Association will partner with local Clubs in every town where A&M plays, setting up Midnight Yell Practice with the A&M yell leaders and the free All-Aggie Tailgate, with free food and drink thanks to sponsors and partners including Aggieland Outfitters.

The key web page you need: tx.ag/awaygames

That’s where all the details, maps, drink specials and more will be updated as each game approaches! Here’s a quick overview:

Pasadena, Calif., Sept. 2-3
Midnight Yell will be in the historic Old Town Pasadena district on a short street called Big Bang Theory Way (yep, it’s named after the TV series set in Pasadena). You’ll be able to watch Yell live on The Association’s Facebook page! Special “hey, what time is yell practice?” notice: Midnight in California is 2 a.m. Central, if you’re watching back home in Texas -- and don’t forget it’s on Saturday instead of Friday, because the game was shifted to Sunday!

For Aggie HQ on Saturday night and Sunday’s free All-Aggie Tailgate, plus maps, locations and more, check tx.ag/awaygames -- food and drink specials are being lined up, and some of the venues will definitely be family-friendly Saturday night. There are lots of Aggies in California, and we hope to see 'em all!

The tailgate eats are free, thanks to Slovacek's, and so is the beer, courtesy of Aggieland Outfitters! The Southern California A&M Club and its president, Thomas Duong ‘99, have done amazing work -- including literal footwork -- in bringing all this together, helping find locations and bringing their local knowledge to bear.

Fort Worth and Arlington, Sept. 22-23
As in recent years, Midnight Yell Practice will be in the Fort Worth Stockyards, and the gameday All-Aggie Tailgate will be outside the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium.

Gainesville, Fla., Oct. 13-14
It’s the first time the Aggies have been in Gainesville since 1962! There’s a Friday night festival going on downtown, and we’ll be amid the fun: Bo Diddley Plaza will be the site for both Midnight Yell and the next day’s All-Aggie Tailgate.

Memphis, Tenn./Oxford, Miss., Nov. 17-18
The thing about Midnight Yell Practice is, it’s at midnight. So if hotels are concentrated in a nearby population center, sometimes it’s friendlier to hold the event there, rather than causing lots of Aggies to drive back post-Yell. Upside: You get two great towns in one weekend. Friday night, we’ll be in Memphis’ Handy Park; Saturday’s All-Aggie Tailgate will be in the famous Grove at Ole Miss in Oxford.

Baton Rouge, La., Nov. 24-25
Come and maroon out Death Valley! And remember, this might not be the final Midnight Yell Practice -- every year that Texas A&M goes to a bowl game, The Association also jumps in to help arrange Midnight Yell and tailgating whenever the Aggies may roam.

Get ready to practice your yells, and let’s Beat The Hell Outta Everybody!
