Google Grant Will Help Tell The Aggie Network Story

The Association of Former Students has been approved as a qualified nonprofit to receive a Google Ad Grant, which means significant in-kind support from Google for The Association's efforts to drive awareness and further its mission.

The Association of Former Students joins some 20,000 other grantees who participate in the Google Ad Grant program.

Randy Reyes ’01, director of marketing for The Association, said the grant provides "a tremendous opportunity to spread the word" about the support that The Association provides to the Aggie Network.

“While many know The Association for its fundraising efforts, the in-kind dollars that the grant provides will allow us to highlight the many programs that make an impact on students and former students,” Reyes said. “Whether it’s the Aggie Ring Program, the Find an Aggie tool on AggieNetwork.com or our support of A&M Clubs worldwide, we look forward to sharing our story with a wider audience thanks to this grant.”

The Association provides value to the Aggie Network through its mission, which is to:

  • Strengthen The Association of Former Students
  • Promote the Interests and Welfare of Texas A&M
  • Perpetuate the Ties of Affection and Esteem Formed During University or College Days
  • Serve the Student Body
