Ronnie W. Allen, 78, of Bryan passed away Monday, April 10 at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Care.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Ronnie was born January 11, 1939 in Marlin, Texas the son of Robert Wayne and Eugenia (Elder) Allen. He retired after many years of service with Alenco; and was the owner of Allen Blinds and Drapery. Ronnie enjoyed being outdoors; he loved hunting, fishing, wood working, barbecuing, and chuck wagon cooking. He loved being with family and friends.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Luther "Butch" Allen.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vanette Allen; daughters and sons-in-law, Alese Allen and Matt Williams; Renee and Adam Hyman Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sheila Allen; sister-in-law, Linda Allen of Boerne; grandchildren, Ami Marino, Jeffrey Swaim, Justin Hyman and wife Deanna and Mason Hyman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cowboy Fellowship of Aggieland, P.O. Box 9050, College Station, TX 77842.
