Charlie Luther "Passed Thru" To Heaven On March 13, 2017 At The Age Of 88. Charlie Was Born In Mathis, Texas June 4, 1928 To The Late Thomas & Lucy Luther. He Graduated From Texas A & M With A Bs In Civil Engineering In 1945. He Returned To Texas A & B For His Master Of Engineering In 1955. He Was A Captain In The U.S. Army. Charlie Enjoyed A Long And Successful Life As A Civil Engineer. When He Retired He Started Volunteering For Elmhurst Hospital And Gave Them 17,340 Hours Of Service. He Will Be Deeply Missed By His Wife Mary Ann And His Daughters That He Loved So Much Laura (Rick) Bingham And Carol Sue (Tom) Urbanus. He Was The Proud "Pop Pop" Of Jeremy, Lucas, And Caleb Bingham And Andrew And Marysue Urbanus. And Great Grandaughter Amber Bingham, And Many Nieces And Nephews. He Was Preceded In Death By His Parents, Sister Elizabeth Maedgen, And Brothers Gerald And Leonard. He Was A Wonderful Man And Truly Had All The Fruits Of The Spirit..Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness And Self Control. He Will Be Missed By Many People And Also The Many "Critters" He Fed In His Back Yard. His Family Will Receive Friends On Saturday, April 8, 2017 From 10 A.M. Until Time Of Memorial Service 11 A.M. At Yorkfield Presbyterian Church, 1099 South York Road, Elmhurst, Il. In Lieu Of Flowers, Memorials May Be Made To Yorkfield Presbyterian Church.
