Rusty Thompson ’85 Endowed Memorial Aggie Ring Scholarship

Howdy! 

As you may know, earlier this year we lost a very dear friend and colleague. Director of Student Activities Rusty Thompson ’85 passed away suddenly, leaving a huge void in our hearts. Rusty served the University for 25 years in various positions, has influenced countless Aggies, mentored to colleagues and shared his Aggie spirit with everyone he met. 

Rusty’s family, Tina, Janie, Blayne and Brenna, have elected to honor him by sharing one of his most cherished Aggie traditions. The Division of Student Affairs at Texas A&M University and The Association of Former Students, along with the Thompson family are proud to share with you the opportunity to support the Rusty Thompson ’85 Endowed Memorial Aggie Ring Scholarship.
