Have you ever heard of palynology?
Don't feel defeated, we hadn't either, but we're so glad we know now!
It's the study of pollen, and it's being used by an A&M professor to help solve crimes.
Vaughn Bryant is one of only a few practicing forensic palynologists in the U.S.
Through his work, he's "helping to solve both active and cold cases for police, tracking the origins of illegal drugs for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and working to help the federal government locate terrorists — most notably Osama bin Laden — overseas," according to reporting done by theeagle.com.
